SOFIA (Bulgaria), August 7 (SeeNews) - Germany's VOSS Automotive will install new machines worth 7 million euro at its production site in Bulgaria's Bahovitsa Industrial Park, near the city of Lovech, which it recently leased, the municipal government said.
The company's production facility is expected to commence operations in May 2019 and reach full capacity by 2020, the Lovech municipality said in a statement following a meeting of city mayor Korneliya Marinova with company officials on Monday.
The German car parts manufacturer has signed a long-term agreement for the lease of 12,225 sq. m. of the automotive production site located in the industrial park, the Lovech municipal government said last month.
VOSS Automotive will employ 1,000 people for its Bulgarian production base. The company specialises in the production of fuel and coolant lines and fittings, quick connector systems, thermal management lines and fittings, and other components.
