July 23 (SeeNews) - Russia's Gazprom has increased its natural gas exports to the region of Southeast Europe (SEE) by 10.3% on the year to 4.196 billion cubic metres in the first quarter of 2018, company data shows.
Moldova was the largest importer of natural gas from Gazprom among SEE countries in the first quarter of 2018, with imports of 1.068 million cubic metres, up 5.2% on the year, figures from Gazprom's interim activity report show.
Bulgaria came second with imports of 881 million cubic metres in the first quarter of 2018, down from 945 million cubic metres in the like period of last year.
Croatia marked the highest rate of increase of imports of Russian natural gas in the first quarter, to 585 million cubic metres, from 284 million cubic metres in the prior-year period.
