March 27 (SeeNews) - Russia's Gazprom has reduced its natural gas exports to the region of Southeast Europe (SEE) by 3.1% year-on-year to 12.095 billion cubic metres in 2019, company data shows.
Moldova was the largest importer of natural gas from Gazprom among SEE countries in the review period with imports of 2.890 billion cubic metres, down 1.7%, figures from Gazprom's interim activity report show.
Croatia came second with imports of 2.821 billion cubic metres in 2019, up from 2.040 billion cubic metres in the previous year.
North Macedonia marked the highest rate of increase of imports of Russian natural gas in 2019, to 296 million cubic metres, from 162 million cubic metres in 2018.
