December 20 (SeeNews) - Russia's Gazprom has increased its natural gas exports to the region of Southeast Europe (SEE) by 6.8% on the year to 9.156 billion cubic metres in the first nine months of 2018, company data shows.
Bulgaria was the largest importer of natural gas from Gazprom among SEE countries in the review period with imports of 2.317 million cubic metres, down 5.7% on the year, figures from Gazprom's interim activity report show.
Moldova came second with imports of 2.017 million cubic metres in the first nine months of 2018, up from 1.816 billion cubic metres in the like period of last year.
Macedonia marked the highest rate of increase of imports of Russian natural gas in January-September, to 74 million cubic metres, from 42 million cubic metres in the prior-year period.
