May 17 (SeeNews) - The Romanian unit of British telecommunications group Vodafone said on Tuesday that its revenues edged down 0.1% to 764 million euro ($800 million) in the fiscal year ended March 31.
The mobile, fixed services and IoT solutions customer base reached 11.1 million at the end of March, Vodafone Romania said in a press release.
Vodafone ended the previous fiscal year with a similar customer base, according to data published on the company's website.
"We accelerated the process of transforming into a provider of next-generation connectivity and digital services. This is our strategic plan for the next years of accelerated growth and dynamic business, namely to offer digital solutions and technology beyond traditional electronic communications services," Vodafone Romania CEO Achilleas Kanaris said.
The group has over 105,000 employees and over 300 million mobile customers across 21 markets and 52 partner markets around the world.
