December 10 (SeeNews) - Shipbuilder Viktor Lenac [ZSE:VLEN] topped the blue-chip gainers' list on the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) on Monday, bourse data showed.
Viktor Lenac's shares closed 11.02% higher at 6.55 kuna.
Hotel group Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] generated the highest trading turnover of 7.4 million kuna. The company closed down 0.62% at 32.0 kuna.
Optima Telekom [ZSE:OPTE] paced the blue-chip decliners, as its share price decreased by 6.96% to 1.47 kuna.
The bourse's total trading turnover rose to 27.1 million kuna ($4.2 million/3.7 million euro) on Monday from 11.1 million kuna on Friday.
The bourse was boosted on Monday by a block trade in shares of Valamar Riviera, Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] and Podravka [ZSE:PODR], totalling 5.5 million kuna, 3 million kuna and 2.5 million kuna, respectively.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the ZSE fell 0.57% to 1,705.20 points, after going up 0.13% on Friday.
The narrower of the bourse's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, went down 0.49% to 999.49 points, after increasing 0.15% in the previous trading session.
The fixed-income CROBIS index closed up 0.03% at 111.4268 points.
