November 11 (SeeNews) - Vienna Insurance Group is interested to invest in vineyards and fruit growing in Bosnia's Serb Republic, the Republic’s government said.
The Bosnian government will support the investments of the Austrian company, the Republic’s government said in a statement posted on its website on Tuesday. No further details were available.
Vienna Insurance Group is the majority owner of Bosnian Jahorina Osiguranje, which was the third largest insurance company in Bosnia as of the first half of 2008, according to the latest available data.
The Serb Republic is one of the two parts of postwar Bosnia. The other is the Muslim-Croat Federation.
