January 23 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian financial leasing company Elana Agrocredit [BUL:0EA] said that it has signed deals to finance purchases of agricultural land worth some 12.4 million levs ($7 million/6.3 million euro) in 2019, down by an annual 10%.
Elana Agrocredit usually finances 80% of the value of the deals.
In December alone, the company financed deals worth some 576,000 levs, sharply down from the deals worth 1.46 million levs financed in December 2018, the company said in a monthly bulletin.
In December, Elana Agrocredit utilised some 1 million levs in financing under its 15 million levs loan agreement with local lender Expressbank. The loan is expected to cover the company's investments in 2020, Elana Agrocredit said.
