June 19 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian financial leasing company Elana Agrocredit [BUL:0EA] said that it has signed deals to finance purchases of agricultural land worth some 586,900 levs ($337,400/300,100 euro) in May, down by 15.5% year-on-year.
Elana Agrocredit usually finances 80% of the value of the deals.
Elana Agrocredit financed the purchase of 60.6 ha of land in the fifth month of 2020, down from 71.5 ha financed in the same period of last year, the company said in a monthly bulletin published earlier this week.
In April, the company reported a net profit of 862,000 levs for the first quarter of 2020, which compares to 831,000 levs in the same period of last year.
