March 22 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) fell by 0.53% each on Wednesday, their third loss in as many trading sessions, amidst a plunge of turnover, bourse data showed.
The 15-share CROBEX ended at 2,214.59 points. The narrower index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, closed at 1,265.81 points.
Hotel owner and operator Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] was the most traded company on the bourse with a turnover of 298,000 euro ($324,000), as its shares lost 1.77% to close at 4.45 euro.
Food and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] ranked second by turnover with just 45,000 euro. Its shares went down 0.44% to finish at 89.60 euro.
The bourse's total trading turnover dropped to some 590,000 euro from 1.4 million euro on Tuesday.
