June 6 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) edged lower on Tuesday on losses in Valamar and Podravka, despite a stronger liquidity, bourse data showed.
The overall trading turnover almost doubled, reaching 1.8 million euro ($1.9 million) from 763,000 euro on Monday.
The 15-share CROBEX ended 0.20% lower at 2,259.16 points. The narrower index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, lost 0.24% to finish at 1,300.12 points.
Preferred shares of blue-chip diversified holing company Adris [ZSE:ADRS2] were the most traded stock with a turnover of almost 205,000 euro. They advanced 0.68% to end at 58.80 euro.
Hotel owner and manager Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] shed 1.38% to close at 4.30 euro in a turnover of 145,000 euro.
Shares of food and pharmaceuticals company Podravka [ZSE:PODR] fell 0.60% to end at 99.40 euro in a turnover of 129,000 euro.
