November 30 (SeeNews) - Hotel operator Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Zagreb Stock Exchange on Thursday, bourse data showed.
Valamar's shares closed 2.98% higher at 44.96 kuna. The hotel co also generated the highest trading turnover of 5.8 million kuna.
Civil engineering company Institut IGH [ZSE:IGH] paced the blue-chip decliners, as its share price fell 3.11% to 218.00 kuna.
The bourse's total trading turnover dropped sharply to 12.0 million kuna ($1.9 million/1.6 million euro) on Thursday from 79.7 million kuna on Wednesday.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the ZSE rose 0.78% to 1,875.01 points, after dropping 0.27% on Wednesday.
The narrower of the bourse's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, gained 1.26% to 1,100.47 points after going down 0.14% in the previous trading session.
The fixed-income CROBIS index dropped 0.07% to 110.4342 points.
