December 6 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rebounded on Tuesday, supported by gains in Valamar and Atlantic Grupa, bourse data showed.
The 19-share equity CROBEX added 0.18% to finish at 1,915.06 points. The narrower index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, advanced 0.22% to close at 1,128.85 points.
In regular trading, the most traded company was food and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] with a turnover of 1.7 million kuna ($236,000/225,000 euro), as shares ended unchanged at 632 kuna.
Shares of another blue chip, hotel operator Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] gained 0.71% to close at 28.40 kuna in a turnover of 1.6 million kuna on the news that its supervisory board approved a business plan for 2023 which foresees 25.95 million euro ($27.3 million) in capital investments. Moreover, in a 7.2 million kuna block deal, 254,929 of its shares changed hands at a price of 28.20 kuna pre share.
Shares of consumer goods distributor Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR] appreciated 1.82% to end at 336 kuna in a turnover of 701,000 kuna.
The bourse's regular trading turnover rose to 7.3 million kuna from 5 million kuna on Monday, while the overall turnover reached 14.4 million kuna boosted by the block deal with Valamar's shares.
