April 6 (SeeNews) - The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is donating $1.1 million (1 million euro) to North Macedonia to help the country mitigate the spread of the coronavirus, USAID North Macedonia said on Monday.
The financial assistance is intended for activities such as lab support, diagnosis, detection, treatment, infection control, disease prevention and response activities in communities at highest risk, USAID North Macedonia said on its Facebook profile.
North Macedonia's health minister Venko Filipce said on Monday that the country has confirmed 570 cases, with the death toll reaching 21.
