BELGRADE (Serbia), June 6 (SeeNews) – San Francisco-based software engineering group Symphony has said it plans to open four new offices in Southeast Europe to support its growth and help leverage the diverse pool of high-tech talent in the region.
The new offices will be located in Sofia (Bulgaria), Thessaloniki (Greece), Novi Sad (Serbia) and Skopje (Macedonia)
In addition to the three existing hubs, in San Francisco, Sarajevo (Bosnia) and Belgrade (Serbia), the new offices will quadruple the office footprint as part of the company’s growth strategy, Symphony said in a statement last week.
"We strongly believe that talented people in this region do not receive the attention they deserve. They are not challenged, which means that their potential remains underutilised. Our main goal is to challenge these people and to help them evolve and succeed in their own development," the CEO of Symphony, Haris Memic, said in the statement.
With the right people, Symphony will have the opportunity to further expand its staffing and capabilities in software engineering and professional services as well as increase the ability to service current and future markets, Memic said.
Symphony is active in building cutting-edge software for teams at companies such as Highfive and Epinomics. The company's fully integrated teams work on machine learning, augmented reality, biotechnology and more, Symphony says on its website.
