November 13 (SeeNews) - US-based company Medical Shipment plans to launch medical supplies in Serbia in 2019, it said.
Medical Shipment is making moves to expand internationally with its first partnership with Serbia but there is still some red tape to go through before work with Serbian companies starts officially, the company said in a statement on Monday.
"We already do business with Canada and Mexico but I think it is time to start working with European countries as well," the CEO and founder of Medical Shipment, Dan Micic, said. "My family is from Serbia and I spend a lot of time over there, so it felt like the right place to start this global expansion."
The goal is to supply European institutions with the medical equipment they need to properly train medical students. In some areas, it is difficult to have access to premium medical supplies and Medical Shipments wants to help solve that problem, Medical Shipment said.
Medical Shipment has been operating in the United States for over 10 years. Although the company began with the purpose of supplying nursing and medical schools it has since grown to work with hospitals, healthcare agencies, and individual consumers.
