March 7 (SeeNews) - Serbia's state-owned gas distribution monopoly Srbijagas, power system operator Elektromreza Srbije, and oil storage operator Transnafta have surprisingly recorded profits in 2015, preliminary data from the country's economy ministry showed on Monday.
On the other hand, the results of the country's road construction company Putevi Srbije and coal miner Resavica showed a negative balance for the year, the ministry said in statement emailed to SeeNews.
Srbijagas expected a net loss of 6.76 billion dinars ($59.4 million/54.3 euro) for 2015, but reported a net profit of 2.96 billion dinars. The company's operating revenues reached 78.3 billion dinars, while its operating costs stood at 64.6 billion dinars.
Elektromreza's expected net profit for 2015 was 1.5 billion dinars, but the company's results show it reached 3.2 billion dinars, with an operating revenue of 23.7 billion dinars and operating costs of 20.4 billion dinars.
Transnafta's preliminary estimates show 166.6 million dinars of profit in 2015, almost three times the planned 65 million dinars, with operating revenues and costs amounting to 855.7 million dinars and 701.4 million dinars, respectively.
Putevi Srbije reported a loss of 9.1 billion dinars for last year, by 408 million dinars smaller than projected, marking operating revenue of 23.8 billion dinars and expenses of 30.1 billion dinars.
Resavica was expected to end the year with a 14.8 million dinar profit, but recorded a loss of 200.4 million dinars instead, with operating revenue and costs of 6.7 billion dinars and 6.8 billion dinars, respectively.
