May 14 (SeeNews) - A fire at Bulgarian arms plant Arsenal in the town of Kazanlak has left two employees with minor injuries on Thursday, the plant CEO Nikolay Ibushev said.
The fire was caused by ignition of mixture for smoke grenades, Ibushev said in an interview with public radio BNR.
The accident was most likely due to a human error, he added.
There was no immediate danger for other workers at the plant.
Local media reported earlier on Thursday that a blast has occurred at the plant.
This is the second accident at a manufacturing facility of Arsenal this year, after three workers sustained minor injuries in a blast at Arsenal's plant in the town of Maglizh in March.
