July 20 (SeeNews) - Croatian fertilizer maker Petrokemija [ZSE:PTKM-R-A] said on Monday it has signed gas supplies agreements for the 2015/2016 period with local oil and gas company INA [ZSE:INA-R-A] and Prvo Plinarsko Drustvo (PPD).
At the same time Petrokemija agreed with INA and PPD on the repayment of debts towards its two gas suppliers, as well as on the revised terms for gas supplies from February to September, Petrokemija said in a bourse filing.
In a separate bourse filling INA said that according to the signed agreement it will deliver 300 million cubic metres of gas to Petrokemija between October 1 and September 30 next year.
With the signed agreements, Petrokemija has secured enough gas quantities to ensure stable production during the 2015/2016 season as well as the successful implementation of the goals set out in its revised 2015-2019 restructuring and financial consolidation programme, it added.
Kutina-based Petrokemija employs around 2,300 and has an annual output of around 1.2 million tonnes.
