December 14 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's annual consumer price inflation accelerated to 3.0% in November, from 2.5% in the previous month, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Thursday.
On a monthly comparison basis, consumer prices increased by 0.4% in November, after adding 0.6% in October, NSI said in a statement.
Prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages, which have the largest weight of 31.82% in the consumer basket, rose 4.9% year-on-year in November, while prices of housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels (17.65% weight) increased 5.3%.
Prices in the transport segment (8.55% weight) added 3.3% year-on-year in November.

Bulgaria's EU-harmonised consumer price index (HICP) rose 1.9% on the year in November and edged up by 0.3% compared to October, NSI said.
