August 14 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's economy expanded by 3.4% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2018, after growing by 3.6% in the first quarter, flash data from the National Statistical Institute (NSI) showed on Tuesday.
On a quarterly comparison basis, Bulgaria's GDP increased by 0.8% in the second quarter of the year, after it grew 0.9% quarter-on-quarter in the first three months of 2018, NSI said in a statement.
Calculated in current prices, Bulgaria's GDP totalled 26.047 billion levs ($15.22 billion/13.32 billion euro) in the first quarter of the year.
