January 11 (SeeNews) - France-based IT company Atos said on Wednesday it has acquired 100% of InfoPartners, a Sofia-based provider of specialist SAP services, for an undisclosed sum.
Under a multi-million euro five-year contract which Atos signed with Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company (CCHBC), Atos will take over the development and management of key IT applications supporting the CCHBC business, the Paris-listed company said in a statement.

"Atos intends to create a Global Center of Expertise for the Food & Beverage Sector in Sofia that will allow to service clients worldwide," Atos added. "Ambition is that within the next five years, this new centre will double Atos capacity in Sofia."
Atos will use the centre for driving global growth in the food and beverage sector across multiple technologies and service line offerings. The incoming capability will provide Atos a significant market differentiator in the form of people assets.
InfoPartners is the incumbent supplier to CCHBC and will serve as the base for the Bulgarian food and beverage competence centre.
Atos is a leader in digital transformation with approximately 100,000 employees in 72 countries and pro forma annual revenue of about 12 billion euro ($12.55 billion).
According to Bulgarian Trade Registry data, the local unit of Atos posted a loss of 1 milion levs ($535,700/510,100 euro) in 2015, as its sales stood at 9.5 million levs. The company has a capital of 10,000 levs.
InfoPartners, set up in 2003, has a capital of 2 million levs, according to Trade Registry data. In 2015 it posted a net profit of 2.3 million levs on revenues of 29 million levs.
