November 21 (SeeNews) - Anglo-Dutch consumer goods group Unilever will invest 150 million euro ($201 million) to set up a factory for personal and home care products in the Turkish city of Konya, in the south of the country, local media reported on Thursday.
Unilever sees great potential in Turkey's home and personal care products market, which has a total value of some $2.5 billion and a growth rate of 8.0%-9.0% annually, daily Dunya quoted Unilever Turkey's CEO Mehmet Altinok as saying.
Unilever opened a 95 million euro ice cream factory in Konya in August. The company has eight production facilities in Turkey.
