BELGRADE (Serbia), November 8 (SeeNews) – Italian banking group UniCredit said on Thursday its Serbian unit recorded a consolidated profit of 65 million euro ($74.3 million) in the first nine months of 2018, up from 46 million euro a year earlier.
The Serbian unit's net interest income increased 15.9% on the year to 88 million euro in the first nine months of 2018, while net fees and commission income rose 25.1% to 21 million euro, the UniCredit Group said in an interim financial statement.
The operating income of UniCredit's Serbian unit grew 15% on the year to 120 million euro, while net operating profit added 47.4% to 80 million euro.
Customer loans increased 14.2% on the year to 2.254 billion euro in the first nine months of 2018, while deposits totalled 1.873 billion euro, up from 1.631 billion euro a year earlier.
