PRISTINA (Kosovo), November 28 (SeeNews) – Kosovo's finance ministry said on Wednesday it signed four loan deals worth a total of 17.7 million euro ($20 million) with UniCredit and Raiffeisen to finance projects for improving water management in four municipalities.
The loans will be used to finance the construction of water supply networks in the municipalities of Ferizaj, Gracanica and Istog and the construction of wastewater network in the municipality of Shtime, the ministry said in a press release, following the signing of the loan agreements.
In September, the ministry said it signed a 5.35 million euro loan agreement worth with UniCredit Bank Austria to finance a project for improving wastewater treatment in the municipality of Podujeva.
The credits are being extended under the financial cooperation agreement on soft loans signed between Kosovo and Austria in 2017.
