October 16 (SeeNews) - Allianz Bulgaria said on Tuesday that it has signed a partnership agreement with UniCredit Bulbank, under which the lender will offer to its clients the general and life insurance policies of Allianz.
The agreement is a follow-up to the partnership agreement between the parent organisations of the two companies - Italy's UniCredit and Germany's Allianz, Allianz Bulgaria said in a statement.
In June, UniCredit announced it has signed exclusive strategic partnership agreements with Allianz and Generali for the distribution of insurance products for individuals and small businesses in nine countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
The nine countries covered by the agreements are Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia.
UniCredit Bulbank was Bulgaria's largest lender by assets at the end of August, according to central bank data.
