October 19 (SeeNews) - Shipping company Uljanik Plovidba [ZSE:ULPL] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Zagreb Stock Exchange on Thursday, bourse data showed.
Uljanik's shares closed 4.08% higher at 153.00 kuna.
Croatia's biggest telecommunications operator Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] generated the highest trading turnover of 1.1 million kuna. The company's share price went down 1.05% and closed at 170.20 kuna.
Croatia's telco Optima Telekom [ZSE:OPTE] paced the blue-chip decliners as its share price fell 3.65% to 2.90 kuna.
The bourse's total trading turnover dropped to 3.8 million kuna ($599,900/506,100 euro) on Thursday from 4.2 million kuna on Wednesday.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the ZSE lost 0.48% to 1,845.13 points, after rising 0.38% on Wednesday.
The narrower of the bourse's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, dropped 0.56% to 1,086.12 points after going up 0.31% in the previous trading session.
The fixed-income CROBIS index remained unchanged at 111.1137 points.
