November 9 (SeeNews) - Ukrainian state-owned shipbuilder Pallada said it has signed a deal to build a floating dock for Croatian peer Iskra.
The floating dock will be able to provide docking of all types of merchant vessels with a dock weight up to 5,000 tonnes, the Ukrainian company said in a statement on its Facebook page on Monday without elaborating on the value of the deal.
Neither of the two companies was immediately available to comment.
The dock will have a service life of over 50 years, the Ukrainian company said.
It will be the fifth floating dock built by Pallada for Croatian companies.
