PODGORICA (Montenegro), January 4 (SeeNews) – Ukraine's State Aviation Administration has issued clearance for the launch of regular flights to Montenegro's capital Podgorica from Kiev by SkyUp airline, the aviation authority said.
The administration has approved an application by SkyUp for the launch of three weekly flights linking Kiev to Podgorica and for the increase of the frequency of its service linking Kiev to Bulgaria's Burgas to five from three per week, it said in a statement posted on its website.
The aviation authority, however, refused to give the green light for SkyUp flights linking Albania's capital Tirana to Kharkov. It also dismissed an application for the launch of regular services on three routes from Podgorica - to Lvov, Kharkov and Zaporozhye.
SkyUp was established in May 2018.
