December 8 (SeeNews) - British low-cost airline Jet2 said it is adding up to 13 more weekly flights to Bulgaria and expanding its hotel offerings between July and September 2023 in response to strong demand from British holidaymakers.
The carrier is launching additional flights to the city of Burgas on the southern Black Sea coast from Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle, it said in a statement on Wednesday.
During peak travel times, Jet2 will offer up to three weekly flights from Birmingham, up to two from Leeds Bradford airport, up to five from Manchester and up to three from Newcastle.
"Holidays continue to be an essential purchase for many customers, and we are seeing strong demand for summer 23, particularly when there is value to be had. In response to this, we have added additional flights and holidays to Bulgaria for next summer and provided customers and independent travel agents with more choice and flexibility when it comes to booking a great value holiday to Bourgas in Bulgaria during the school holidays," Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2 and Jet2holidays, said.
Jet2holidays, which is the airline's affiliate company providing package holidays and tours, has expanded to over 50 its portfolio of two- to four-star hotels available to book in Bulgaria for the upcoming summer season.
