January 18 (SeeNews) - UK-based fintech company Phos said on Tuesday it entered the Bulgarian market through a partnership with local online card payment services provider Borica.
"This partnership makes our innovative [software-only Point of Sale system] SoftPoS solution available to Bulgarian banks, allowing them to offer customers the ability to turn any [near-field communication] NFC-enabled Android device into a payments terminal, it said in a LinkedIn post.
Phos is the sole owner of Phos Bulgaria, founded in 2018, which also develops its parent company's technology solutions.
