July 22 (SeeNews) - U.S.-based multinational online transportation network company Uber Technologies Inc. said on Thursday it expanded its services in Romania to include the city of Braila.
Braila, in eastern Romania, is the twelfth city in the country in which the service was launched, the tech startup said in a press release.
"We have been planning to expand in Braila since we arrived in Galati and we are happy to announce that the city's residents will benefit from safe and convenient flights with Uber. Now it will be easier to travel between the two cities," Uber Romania country operations manager Ana Maria Borlovan said.
Uber, which has been present in Romania since 2015, currently operates in Bucharest, Timisoara, Brasov, Cluj, Iasi, Constanta, Galati, Craiova, Pitesti, Oradea, Ploiesti and Braila.
