December 18 (SeeNews) - SEE Link, a platform for trading of securities listed on equity markets in Southeast Europe (SEE), said on Monday it added Bosnian companies Telekom Srpske and BH Telecom to its blue-chip indices SeeLinx and See Linx EWI.
The indices' revised composition is reflected in their calculation as of December 18, SEE Link said in a statement.
See Link also said that the Athens Stock Exchange is in a process of joining the platform.
Currently, the platform includes the most traded companies on seven bourses in the SEE region - the stock exchanges of Bulgaria, Serbia, Macedonia, Croatia, Slovenia, and the two bourses of Bosnia.
SEE LinX index is a market capitalization weighted index adjusted for the free-float of each constituent, while SEE LinX EWI is an equally weighted index with the same constituents.
SEE Link became operational in March 2016 with the launch of an order-routing system.
The Bulgarian, Macedonian and Croatian stock exchanges set up SEE Link as a joint company based in Skopje in May 2014. The three participating bourses, holding equal interest in SEE Link have contributed 80,000 euro each in capital. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development supported the initial phase of the SEE Link project with a 540,000 euro ($603,800) grant to introduce an electronic system for order-routing in July 2014.
