November 28 (SeeNews) - Radio and TV transmission services provider NURTS Bulgaria [BUL:NUHA] said on Thursday that its consolidated net profit rose to 5.1 million levs ($2.9 million/2.6 million euro) in the first nine months of 2019 from 4.6 million levs in the same period of last year.
The company has increased its net profit despite a 10.5% year-on-year drop in operating revenue to 28.5 million levs in the January-September period of 2019, NURTS Bulgaria said in an interim financial statement.
Operating expenses decreased to 22.9 million levs in the review period from 26.8 million levs in the like period of last year.
NURTS Bulgaria is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bulgarian Telecommunications Company (BTC), which operates under the Vivacom brand.
