March 19 (SeeNews) - Total trading turnover on the LJSE soared to 11.05 million euro ($13.63 million) on Monday from 1.5 million euro on Friday, on the back of heavy trade in shares of fuel retailer Petrol [LJE:PETG] and insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav [LJE:ZVTG], bourse data indicated.
Trade in Petrol shares generated a turnover of 4.98 million euro, while trade in Zavarovalnica Triglav contributed 5.30 million euro to the total turnover on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) Monday.
Logistics company Intereuropa [LJE:IEKG] was the top blue-chip gainer during the trading session, closing 6.60% higher at 2.1 euro.
There were no blue-chip decliners on the LJSE on Monday.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, rose 0.26% to 825.29 points on Monday, after closing 0.23% lower on Friday.
