January 17 (SeeNews) - Romania's road infrastructure company CNAIR said that it has signed a contract worth 869.1 million lei ($190.5 million/175.9 million euro) with a consortium made up of three Turkish companies for works on the Baldana – Targoviste road section.
The contract has a duration of 36 months, of which 12 months for project design and 24 for the execution stage, CNAIR said in a press release on Monday.
Works on the 44-kilometres long section of the DN71 road will entail the addition of two extra traffic lanes, bringing the total to four lanes.
The works have a warranty of five years.
ESTA Construction Industry Logistics and Foreign Trade and ESTA Construction Group are part of the Turkish ESTA Group, established in 2006.
Gun Al Madencilik Insaat is a company of Turkish construction group Gunal, which has an experience of more than 25 years in motorways, dams, drinking water, irrigation canals, ponds, tunnels and similar infrastructure works.
