January 6 (SeeNews) - Turkey-based manufacturers of parts for F-35 fighter jets are considering moving their activities to neighbouring Bulgaria, Turkish media reported.
The list of companies contemplating a relocation of their production to Bulgaria includes Alp Aviation, business news outlet Borsatek reported last week.
Companies in Turkey are currently weighing the possible sanctions which the US might impose on the country in response to Turkey's offensive in Syria and the purchase of a Russian-made missile system.
The US Senate committee passed last month a bill which could lead to a freeze of Turkish assets in the U.S., restricting visas and limited access to credit for Turkish nationals.
