April 6 (SeeNews) - Turkish Airlines [IST:THYAO] said it has suspended all of its domestic flights as of April 3 due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The restriction will be in force until April 20, the Turkish flag carrier said in a notice on Friday.
The company earlier halted temporarily all of its international flights until May 1 after Turkey's president Recep Tayyip Erdogan ordered the suspension of all international flights to and from the country in an effort to contain the coronavirus outbreak.
The country's health minister Fahrettin Koca said that the number of coronavirus cases in Turkey has risen to 27,069 as of Sunday, with confirmed deaths from the infection reaching 574, local Sabah Daily reported.
