November 12 (SeeNews) - Turkish lender Ziraat Bank's [BIST:TCZB] net profit rose 36.6% year-on-year to 2.6 billion Turkish lira ($1.3 billion/949 million euro) in the first nine months of 2013, the bank said.
Net interest income increased 13.8% on the year to 5.6 billion lira, while net fees and commissions income grew 23.9% to 691 million lira, Ziraat Bank said in its financial report issued on Monday.
Ziraat Bank's third-quarter net profit grew 27% year-on-year to 782 million lira, its income statement showed.
Total assets rose 27% year-on-year to 195.8 billion lira as of September 30, loans grew 48% to 101 billion lira and deposits increased 22% to 131.8 billion lira, the bank said.
