July 17 (SeeNews) - Turkey's Yapi Kredi Bank [BIST:YKBNK] said Wednesday it secured a 100 million euro ($131.5 million) loan from the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) to finance small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs).
The seven-year loan, guaranteed by UniCredit Bank Austria, will be drawn in tranches, Yapi Kredi said in a statement on Borsa Istanbul.
The loan is the first CEB financing provided to a private bank without a guarantee by the Undersecretariat of Treasury, Yapi Kredi added.
