Turkey's Vakifbank sells 712 mln lira (259 mln euro) bills

November 7 (SeeNews) - Turkey's Vakifbank [BIST:VAKBN] has sold 712.2 million Turkish lira ($350.4 million/259.4 million euro) in 175-day bank bills in a public offering.

The bills are due May 2, 2014, carry a compound interest rate of 8.3438%, the bank said in a bourse filing.

Vakifbank offered 600 million worth of the bills, with an option for additional sale of 300 million lira worth of the bills, on November 4, 5 and 6.
