April 12 (SeeNews) - Turkey's total turnover index encompassing industry, construction, trade, and services, rose by 105.4% year-on-year in the second month of 2022, the country's statistical office said on Tuesday.
In February, the turnover index value was higher by 123.6% year-on-year in industry, 94.1% in trade, 119.6% in services, and 55.2% in construction, TurkStat said in a statement.
Compared to January, the total turnover of Turkey's economy went up 7.9% in February 2022. Turnover in trade rose the most, by 9.4% month-on-month in February, and added 2.7% in construction, 6.1% in services, and 7.3% in industry.
Total turnover index was 31.3% higher on the year in February 2021.
urnover comprises the totals invoiced by the observation unit, corresponding to market sales of goods or services supplied to third parties.
