ISTANBUL (Turkey), September 2 (SeeNews) – Turkish state-owned integrated aerospace systems manufacturer Turkish Aerospace Industries, or TAI, said on Tuesday it has completed a programme for the modernisation of Pakistan's F-16 fleet with the delivery of the last four aircraft.
Under a contract awarded by Pakistan’s Ministry of Defence in 2009, TAI carried out avionics and structural modernization of 41 F-16 aircraft at its facilities as part of Pakistan’s F-16 modernization programme, TAI said in a statement on its website.
The last F-16 were delivered at a ceremony held at TAI’s facilities in Ankara on September 2.
