April 14 (SeeNews) - Turkey's retail sales volume at constant prices rose by an annual 4.6% in February, after increasing by 2% in the previous month, the country's statistical office said.
Food, drinks and tobacco sales volume added 8.1% year-on-year in the second month fo 2021, non-food sales, excluding sales of motor fuels, went up 4%, and automotive fuel sales volume rose 0.8%, TurkStat said in a statement on Tuesday.
The country's retail sales volume climbed up 3.4% month-on-month at constant prices in February.
Retail turnover at current prices increased by 21% on the year in the review month, after rising by an annual 16.7% in January.
On a monthly comparison basis, retail turnover at current prices increased by 4.5% in February.
