April 15 (SeeNews) - Turkey's retail sales volume at constant prices grew by an annual 6.2% in February, after rising by 8.1% in January, the country's statistical office said.
Sales of non-food products added 12.6% on the year in February, automotive fuel sales went down 0.7%, and food, drinks, and tobacco sales fell 0.6%, TurkStat said in a statement earlier this week.
On a monthly comparison basis, the country's retail sales volume increased 0.5% in February.
Retail turnover at current prices in February increased by 82.2% year-on-year and by 7.5% month-on-month.
