October 15 (SeeNews) - Turkey's retail sales volume at constant prices increased by an annual 15% in August, after rising by 13.2% in the previous month, the country's statistical office said.
Sales of non-food products went up by an annual 23.4% in the eighth month of 2021, automotive fuel sales added 6%, while food, drinks and tobacco sales rose by 7.3%, TurkStat said in a statement earlier this week.
The country's retail sales volume edged up by 0.3% month-on-month at constant prices in August.
Retail turnover at current prices increased by 37.3% year-on-year in the month under review and added 1.8% compared to the previous month.
