March 21 (SeeNews) - Turkish company Kentkart said on Monday it will take legal action against Serbia for terminating early an e-ticketing service contract for public transport in the capital Belgrade, local media reported.
Kentkart's statement follows a decision of the city of Belgrade to terminate the public-private partnership agreement 11 years before its expiration, news outlet N1 said.
Kentkart was awarded the 13-year contract in 2021. However, after a new government was elected in Belgrade, the city decided to take over the public transport ticketing services and established a public company to do the job.
