ISTANBUL (Turkey), November 24 (SeeNews) – Turkish vehicle manufacturer Katmerciler Arac Ustu Ekipman Sanayi ve Ticaret [BIST:KATMR] said on Monday it has won a contract to supply the Turkish National Police with 50 units of riot control vehicles for 11.8 million euro ($14.6 million).
Katmerciler won the contract offering the lowest bid in a tender which attracted five bidders, the company said in a bourse filing.
The Turkish National Police will receive 50 units of Katmerciler’s TOMA-3 civil disturbance intervention trucks, the company noted.
Katmerciler produces about 30 types of vehicles and equipment at its facilities in the western Turkish city of Izmir. It exports its productions to more than 40 countries.
