January 13 (SeeNews) - Turkey's industrial production grew 11.4% year-on-year in November after it increased by 8.7% in the previous month, the national statistical office said on Thursday.
At a sub-sectoral level, industrial output in November increased by 7.5% in the mining and quarrying industry, by 12.5% in the manufacturing industry, and by 4.0% in electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning production and distribution, TurkStat said in a statement.
On a monthly comparison basis, Turkey's industrial production went up 3.3% in November.
Industrial output in the mining and quarrying sector fell 1.6% month-on-month in November and added 3.8% in manufacturing and 0.4% in electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning production and distribution.
