April 7 (SeeNews) - Turkish home and professional appliances manufacturer Vestel Elektronik Sanayi ve Ticaret [IST:VESTL] said it is resuming production as of April 6 after a suspension due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The plants will start operations with a lower capacity due to measures taken to contain the coronavirus spread, Vestel said in a notice filed with Istanbul bourse's Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) on Monday.
The company suspended production from March 30 to April 5 to protect the health of employees and the public amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Vestel, established in 1984, manufactures consumer electronics, household appliances, visual solutions, LED lighting, EV charging stations and other products.
